Description of the contract:
The awarding authority has delivered an exciting development supported by NHS North Staffordshire and Sport
England to provide a new concept in leisure, health and well-being. The centre named Jubilee 2 includes a
facility mix as in recent press
releases. The facility opened in January 2012 replaces Knutton Recreation Centre and Jubilee Pool that have
come to the end of their lifespan.
Within the town Centre of Newcastle under Lyme there is a mixture of local and national providers offering a
range of catering provisions to residents and people who work or study in the town.
The Council is now seeking to appoint a suitable contractor to deliver safe, cost efficient and effective cleaning
and sanitising services to the common parts of the Jubilee 2 leisure centre for a period of twelve months.
