There are a lot of people out there who have been redundant and are looking to make a new start. These are not your usual summer brigade. For the most part they are people of a much higher calibre who are not going to let this fail because they have put their redundancy money into it. Anyway they are running out of other ideas. It may not be a threat to you at the moment but the underlying reasons for them appearing on the streets is a threat to all of us because nobody is an island.
one company have even been canvassing houses just sold on my estate work.the neighbours have told the new house owners that im the local cleaner so i havent lost any to them yet!they seem to be very keen to get a foothold on 2 estates i clean but their not getting much joy! they are cleaning 4 customers houses that ive dumped due to being messers/bad payers thats about it!!
unless you come from a grafter job background or are of fairly humble personality ,you probably wont survive as a newbie these days a flash newbie with redundancy cash will often fail once they realize what this job is about. a lot of these blokes are cocky types, snazzy pullovers and a 59 plate car back at home.iv met a few over the years ,they go thru money like water and often end up selling their alloy wheels on Ebay they will likely soon realize the streets are not paved with gold
