Hi Paul, A bit out of my price range mate,looking for areas around Chelmsford,Billericay,Wickford,South Woodham Ferrers & surrounding areas,I put 25 mile radius just to see what was out there for sale,but thanks anyway.

Hi, As the title say's, again looking for work in essex, have recently tried a canvasser, he got me a reasonable amount of work, but then decided to change his terms, so that was the end of that  , anyway looking for upto a £1000 worth of work in the essex area.

Hi Scott, How you doing mate, I used Tom, he got me some half decent work, but then decided to change his terms, that killed it for me as too risky on the money side.

Not to bad mate could do with more work lol... I'm using him at the moment too, he has brought in some half decent ones but is very hard to pin down as he still owes me £120 worth of cancellations etc.

So what did he change his terms from and too??

I've ended up advertising for someone full time in the job centre but no luck finding anyone really

Hi Scott, he started at the two times rate, which I was up for, I told him I was looking for around £2500 of work, then because his guys were pants at priceing, I had quite a few cancellations, which in fairness he sorted by deducting of the next batch of work, then he decided to charge  2 1/2 times, example: £100 of work (£250), canvaser gets £200, you then keep back £50 for 2 months, any cancellations come out of reserve £50, canvaser picks up remainder of £50 if any left, he don't replace any work, so your paying for your own losses, you might for example lose say £35 of work, after two months he still expects to turn up and take another £15 of you, what's he like your end, I've heard a few people have stopped using him.

Toms canvassing himself is good, I just find that the two guys he has are more interested in a quick buck rather than doing the job correctly. The feed the prospectitive new customers with any old sh#t just to get the job and nearly every one has to be schooled on what's actually going to be happening. Most importantly he owes me a good £240, he disappears and then you can't get hold of him?

I may have a guy starting with me in a couple of weeks, if he turns out to be any good we could sort out a deal

Hi Scott, I quite agree, the guys fed the custy a line just to get some cash, I did tell Tom he needs to sort them with the priceing, but I think it fell on deaf ears lol, I'm still getting the odd custy drop off, but I cant be bothered in chasing Tom up  , the 2 clean contract aint worth the paper it's written on lol, let me know how your new canvasser gets on.
