WFP Great for swimming training
« on: March 31, 2012, 09:15:30 am »
I am starting a triathlon/football based charity challenge today, getting into an unheated pool in 2 hours time for a mile swim.

I have called it brumorbust which takes place over the next 7 days to raise funds for diabetes uk

I am a 6 month newbie windie and love it, more of a lurker than contributor on here but have found your contributions on here really useful to me.

I have found that using my WF pole has been a great substitute for swimming training

If  you would like to find out more please look at /http://brumorbust.com/about/

Thanks
Tony

I am not sure I would be able to give the best advice, based on this week :)

I am hoping to take on a half Ironman later this year if the events and training go well this year.

My challenge Brumorbust was completed on Saturday  :)

I was given a great reception from the Birmingham City fans when introduced on the pitch at half time, a day I will always remember

my final blog updates have been made at www.brumorbust.com

I have raised £3000 for Diabtetes UK  ;D
