have been using fan jets for 3 months now, once you realise never ever take the brush off the glass you are miles miles quicker, and use loads less water, its really noticeable in my opinion

Never ever? Ive been using fans for 4 years and havent found that to be the case. Particularly on non-sheeting glass; they're a god-send when you lift your brush off.

Can you explain a little more, please?  Do you have to lift off on non-sheeting to get it right?

Ive just bought a gardiner sill brush with  fan jets in and all i can say is brilliant . ;D

No Vin you dont have to but I find they rinse far quicker if you do lift the brush off on non-sheeting glass. I also dont have a controller, I just run on full bore.

he meens hydrophobic glass, glass that beads and is a pain in the arse, you dont need to lift a self cleaning brush of the glass, i dont see the point you directing it better through the bristles
