First cleans !!!!!

Canvasser been busy so had some 1st cleans to get thru .. Forgotten just how long they take and had some real mingers as well.

Hopefully a load more to do but rekon max is 8 a day.

I used to hate first cleans, but now I really enjoy them. . . . transforming the dirty windows and frames into a sparkling clean of loveliness  ;D

I've had 2 first cleans this week both with 17 windows and one with a conservatory niether had been done for over a year totally under estimated how long they would take and just quoted another with 34 windows that hasnt been done for 3yrs !!!:-\

one I did this morning hadnt been done for 12 years !!!!

frames came up like new .. almost .. took an hour for 10 windows .. seems a proper customer .. second clean time will tell  ;D

took the words right out of my mouth, doing a shed load of them at the moment, nice to get great feedback for new customers though.

some off the ones ive been doing would bring positive customer comments if I chucked a bucket of water over them and used a yard brush on em ... theyve been that bad  :(

I meant take photo's of the work not the customers  ;D i don't blame them if they give you funny looks

made a massive mistake today-  quoted a high street double fronted shop 8 quid in and out.  for some stupid reason i failed to include the fact they've not been cleaned for 5 years in my quote.  one hour into the job ive only done half.  gonna ring up the owner today as £4 p/h is the biggest balls up ive managed in my 2 years of running this business

You'll be gutted if they do cancel ;D

Always worrys me a bit when I'm doing a first clean for a minger!

Couldn't believe it yesterday had a massive bungalow to clean first time tipps up and customer goes don't worry bout frames etc they should be ok shed been out there all day with bucket of suds wash brush and hose shed scrubbed the lot down ready for me l couldn't believe it few water spots on glass but so much easier she paid me on arrival and I gt a cuppa very odd but very good

comes with the job ... unfortunately ... you can try and weed em out but I think we all got caught eventually ... sometimes I do charge double for the 1st clean if its really bad.

i did one the other week.£45 clean price.thought id take the hit first clean.IT TOOK ME THREE HOURS!!loads of silicone that needed scraping off under the dirt!!so only £15 an hour.hard work too.

the job will only take me an hour now on maintenance cleans so £45 will be a good price for the job.

i usually charge more for first cleans.sometimes double but i made a mistake with this one!

there is a company near me who have been offering to clean windows FOR FREE FIRST CLEAN!!they plastered flyers all over telegraph poles near where i work!! ??? ??? ???madness if you ask me!! ;D ;D
