just changed my computer and unfortunately, my system is old school, (no clouds in my sky) and to make matters worse, my old comp was vista and new one windows 7.
i'm using windows live mail.

i have over a 1000 emails in my contacts and don't fancy forwarding them one by one and then adding them to my new contacts, ive noticed there is an export which puts them all in a ?csv? file? but if that works then how do i do the dirty at the other end.

some help to save me 3 days of manual labour would be fantastic.

please reply in kiddy speak as i'm no techie.

export contacts using csv, then email to your self.
save attachment to desktop.
open new contacts.
import csv file from desktop.
keep mapping fields the same and bingo, jobsagooden
