I often work Sunday or part of a Sunday myself. Not always though. Got to give that body and mind a rest sometimes. When I do so, it's usually commercial work but there are exceptions. There's one (domestic) job that can't be done in the week as they have counselling clients visiting and wish to preserve confidentiality. That's no problem as they were up front about it from the outset. I work it in and do it on the way home from some commercial work. Also, I have a very few customers who want a very infrequent service but want me to do all the facias etc. Although very infrequent, due to the quantity of work I do in one visit, it is worth my while. However, it would be a bit disruptive to my more regular schedule so the deal is that I do them on Sundays - but not in Winter.
Furthermore, if water shortages eventually force me from WFP to ladders, I will be working 7 days again just to keep up. Desperate? Well, yes. What's wrong with being desperate? I would rather be desperate and doing something about the problem than be desperate and not do anything about it.
