I have a customer that has sent me more texts made more phone calls than all my family and friends and customers put together, I told her it would be 4 weekly and she begged me fortnightly, she is mental, wants the insides done as well every two weeks, after a week the texts start, when you coming afternoon or morning, what day, I am not in that day can you make it such and such a day, it just goes on and on.

Now I know the answer is just dump

but I have two perfectly normal customers on the same cul-de-sac that pay well and never bother me

she pays well enough, and loves the way I clean, I JUST CAN NOT STAND THE CONSTANT CONTACT

it wouldn't bother me dumping the lot of them for the peace, don't want to though

so I need to man up and tell her how my business works don't like doing that much prefer the dump and ignore

rich enough to have her windows cleaned weekly if she could and have a Gardiner, and a 5 thousand pound carpet that I have to cross without touching it

but never has cash, her own daughters who are occasionally there, either run to her every whim or get to f eck away as quick as they can

think I will just phone her tomorrow and write a cheque for the clean due and say sorry I was just won a massive contract blah blah

But I probably won't I will phone listen to drivel and say ok then I will do it this afternoon and try once more to explain how it works and I have tried on many occasions

I had one of these and my wife suggested a simple solution.  Always leave it 24 hours before responding to their texts.  They are still getting a reply, so they aren't hacked off, and you're discouraging their habit of texting you all the time as they aren't getting immediate feedback.

She is texting you because she is chasing you.... you know it.... and she knows it...

and you want to know what other people  think.... if its happened to them or is it just you,?

gazza mate she isn't in the slightest chasing me, that is how others have mistook the subject, she is OCD and likes super clean windows end of story, I have massive ears, black and missing teeth I am no catch, I am genuinely glad she has cancelled now peace at last, it was just annoying, I don't need advice I knew what had to be done, just sharing an experience and wondered if others had similar pita customers
