Van Signwriting
« on: March 12, 2012, 02:41:58 pm »
Getting my new(ish) van this week, just wondering what your thoughts are on types of signage? my van at the moment just has my logo, with text (list of things we do, email address, phone numbers etc.)

Was thinking of maybe some pictures on the new van as its got a heap more space, transit LWB.

For those that have pictures on your van, do you get comments etc about it? get work from people who have seen your van specifically?

any info would be great.

I had a van signwritten last year, only got 1 job from it, but sold it at the back end of last year to a guy about 25 miles away and had 4/5 enquiries since then from his area???? because he has left the sign writting on.... because of the poor amount of phone calls when i had it written i have chosen not to signwrite my new van.
However I know a guy that lays paving with a really well wrapped van who does his shopping at the tesco by me and he leaves his van right outside the front doors when he goes in tesco and gets alot of phonecalls form it, Also another guy who does plastering parks his van near a busy junction on the road and he says he gets about 2/3 jobs a month from it!
