tips on leafletting

tips on leafletting.  iv been growing my biz by leafletting but had let my mind go off the ball as id grown to trust the 2 lads i have doing different days. however the results have got poor and it took me a good fortnite to twig that something was up

Day before yesterday i counted the leaflets out accurately beforehand and set up a sting whereby i drove by the route of the leafletter in the course of my day. we lost hours of  workday by doing this but we could see him nowhere-although he met us for lunch and all seemed ok
After six hours of work he "staggered convincingly " to the finish point and then i counted the leaflets left (something i never had done before, durrrr)

guess what ,he had delivered just 24 leaflets !!!

new leafletter starts this morning ,im going to count the leaflets from now on and other checks if i can think of any -do you know any ?

hi there,

I am sure someone one here or maybe the other forum used a tracker on his leaflters, if I remember correctly was about £60-£70 part of the agreement was that they were prepared to wear it, and it showed where they had been etc - was a good idea, may have been Vin?

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Yes it is Vin, I bought a similar unit "I got u" gps tracker paid about £45 from maplins, if your leafletter switches it on when he starts and off when he's finished you can download a map to google of where he went (you can choose to log locations every 5 secs and upwards, have mine set to 1min).  Doesn't prove he actually puts them thru the letterbox but does prove where he went and for how long, and gives you a useful map of area covered, which is what I use mine for at present cos leafletters are family.

I tell my leafleters that I will be knocking random doors of areas they cover to check if they've had one. I choose 20 houses in different streets per 1,000 delivered.

Round here there is a growing problem with illegals, hundreds of them. I don't condone using them but they leaflet like mad all day for £15
