hi im thinking of starting a commercia cleaning and carpet and upholstery cleaning business in the essex region, just looking for advise on.

Where to get training?
Is a yellow pages ad worth it?
What is the going rate for commercial cleaners?
How do you price up carpet cleaning whats the going rate in this region?

Probably a silly question, but why would you go to the National Flood School.......to find out about commercial cleaning and carpet cleaning??

If you do a course at PROCHEM for the carpet and upholstery courses, you will gain valuable knowledge which could take you months to learn by trial and error by yourself. They will also give you a reasonable idea of what you can charge per sq.foot etc etc.
AFTER such a course, you could join PROCLEAN for professional carpet cleaners, and they can show you then to put this new experience to good use to make you lots of money.

Regarding the commercial cleaning side of it, do a search on the past 40 odd pages on this forum. We have discussed health and safety issues, staffing, Tax, VAT, how to sell yourself and get work in etc etc......

Hope that helps you, and i hope that someone can provide me with an insite to the National Flood School too.....

Kind Regards
