Just got my 1st contract "£175 every 6 weeks" using you letter

I might have some further luck with it myself - just waiting for written confirmation from a local company for £1100 of work every quarter.  Fingers crossed, was a lot of hard work as they wanted written risk assessments for each job included with the quotation.

The odd thing is that I sent this letter out with our portfolio last October and its been sat on our contacts desk since.  She had one complaint about the current w/c and presto, we have a chance.

The content and format seems to be working quite well for quite a few and its nice to hear some feedback.

Hi Nickie.

The above letter is specific to Window Cleaning and the Working at Heights Directive.

You are more than welcome to  use is format and wording to pull together one for your industry but its impact does come from the fact companies are responsible for their on-site contractors safety when working at heights, although I would assume that would relate to other kinds of safety issues.

Try looking on the HSE website for guidance - perhaps you will find a hook specific to your business.
