Should I charge?
« on: February 18, 2012, 06:38:06 pm »
Had a school booked in today, confirmed a couple of weeks ago. To clean render soiled with algae. Only 20mins work, around an entrance, arms length height with lance, nice and easy. £80.

Got there and gates closed all locked up, no sign of anyone. Where as I was informed there'll be someone there.

Should I charge for the inconvenience? Fuel and time, could have had another job in it's place etc.

In all the years I've been doing this, this is the first time. Never been a problem.

have you spoken to them since? might have been a honest reason as to why they werent there?

If not, charge them part of the job price for the call out.

If it was all confirmed etc, I'd charge them. Re-book and I might give a discount.
