Mike, it might stand for licence but there is no law. It's a guideline.

They are the same thing mate.. you get your PAL from IPAF when you do the course..

anyway, im sure if he wanted to do the job, he could find somewhere to hire the lift, and just crack on. or he could do the one day course, and do it all legit.

The only two options really... or hire a machine AND driver for the day and add all that to the final costing. simples
