First Day WFP - Think it went well.
« on: February 14, 2012, 08:37:47 pm »
Well today was my first day working on customers properties with WFP. Before now I have only ever done traditional. I practiced and practiced on my own property.

Only got in one tangle, which I didn't think it was too bad.

Think I need to improve my technique a little but all takes time.  ;D

Any advice welcome.

Stick with it.  Its not easy getting used to it.  You basically have to learn your round all over again.  If you dont hate it after first day, your doing well!

As written above about learning your round all over again.

How true is that?

As for tangles - it becomes an art. You end up seeing potential 'hot spots' without even thinking about it but daily, I still get the hose under my feet in an impossible knot.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

As time goes on, you'll get better and more confident; at first you'll feel clumsy with the pole, but in no time you'll be swinging it around better than Saddam on Youtube.

This is one of lifes unwritten rules-it also applies to rope, laces, dog leads(with dogs attached usually) and especially my bl**dy gutter vac hose!! :)
we succeed because others can't or won't
