Hi Guys I am looking for old slx with worn poles and clamps that you would dump I want to experiment with repairing and refurbishing them.I have a few good ideas I would like to develop this as a service to our industry.E Mail me at jaggerrichard@rocketmail.com   Thanks.

DB Services has an old 5 year old Facelift that needs to be repaired

I've got the Mark 1 SL-X off of the first batch (4 years old or so) and it's still earning me money everyday on every job, so sorry I can't help you there! :)

 want to work on the pole were they have become to thin for the clamp to grip.I am not interested if the clamps are worn that would be a job for Gardeners.

My pole has worn to thin,the clamps are ok,it's a 25ft carbon facelift.

5 years with the same pole?you ve defo had your moneys worth out of it then!!just buy another but go for the 25FT SLX.itll be miles lighter but probably wont last you 5 years but less strain during your working day.
price higher/work harder!
