I don't know about that machine in particular. But when I had my Alltec, I found their after sales very good. They will, like a lot of the others, give good technical guidance when required....

you mean the ' Elite ' 500 ?   I dont think they have a 500 pumptec for the express .
The express is a small tanked version of the elite .

Not used it , but looks like great value for 2250 depending on how you use a portable .
3000w heater + twinvac + 500 pump

Would prefer to see a 2" vac outlet ,  If you dont need to use more than 50' hose then its fine , but for runs of 75' i would get them to fit a 2" outlet if possible and use 2" hose .

If you dont need a lot of pressure , you could get the same elite with basic 100psi pump for £1450 and upgrade to a 220psi aquatec pump for a couple of hundred . ( mytee use it in the speedster 250 now , replacing the 250 pumptec .

If you want to use longer hose runs than 75' i would look at some of the more powerfull extractors , like the airflex turbo or others ... but adding an inline heater will push the cost to over 3000 for any of them .

I'm impressed you've answered, you usually go "Radio Silent" by now  ;D

I would prefer to send a private email, because unlike you, I don't get anything out of slating particular machines on an open forum.

I'm hoping you're not one of these weirdos who doesn't use your real name. Lets face it, there are plenty and I'm not talking about people using "Nick Names" either.

Some of your spellings would suggest you are American, but hey, maybe I'm just looking to far into things..... ???

APOLOGIES to Tom BTW for hi-jacking your thread... John and me are just winding each other up, it's the only fun we get...... ;D

I have a 1200psi Hydroforce Olympus 500 which is essentially the same Sandia supplied body.

We have only had one issue with the machine which was rectified quickly.
That was the 1200psi pumptec would trip due to the heat in the motor compartment.
A fan at the front of the machine was installed and we have had smooth running with it ever since.

The model I have has a 2" outlet. I thought the Elite was the same. We use it with a wonder wand on carpet regularly although our model doesn't have a heater so can't comment on its performance. I would imagine up to 50-400psi it would be the same as most out there.

Due to the nature of the work we do with It (poolside tile & grout cleaning) it tends to get its vacs flooded regularly but is still on its originals some 4 years on as the op's always run it to dry them off after the job.
