Stuck in the mud
« on: February 10, 2012, 08:09:32 pm »
One of my vans got stuck in the mud a couple of months back.

we went off and bought some rope to get it out, the rope snapped, so we doubled and used 2 ropes, snapped again.

Went off and bought more rope, so we had 4 ropes, guess what still snapped,

2 hours later and a lot of digging, we managed to get unstuck by driving in reverse.

Couple of photos here

You've been told not to go in the Co-Op in Kingswood Trippy haven't you. You know the toilets aren't there to 'meet' your friends. You'll get in trouble again.

that reminds me of van breakdown on island, phoned police as in bad position, recovery truck came - parked on grassy island, winched our van onto his truck, then couldnt get off island, stuck in mud, had to wait for another recovery truck to tow him and us off, when he asked driver what was in van he replied - same as said earlier mate, about a tonne of water ;D
