A few weeks ago, i was suspended for allegedly touting for work,all i did was reply to a thread.I have now been reinstated as obviously i was telling the truth...plain to see.So and it is not sour grapes,why can people tout for work openly and not be suspended..... just a question and hopefully i will get a satisfactory answer?

Nick. I actually own a forum (nothing to do with cleaning). I don't mind people replying to threads with relevant stuff, but I get a lot of spammers, so I am always keeping an open eye for those that are just waiting to "tout" I want people that are interested in that niche, not just looking for a money maker, I probably discriminate them if I'm honest

So even those that add relevant info, just to things related to products and services that they sell I drop the odd warning. If they want to tout, then they can pay me advertising fees, if not, (I don't mind either way), then they are just annoying me and my members. I hope that helps. No dig, its just the way I see it as a forum owner myself.

Also, no point having an open forum dig if that is what this post is for? I don't think it will help your moral, or you current "reinstated" status on this forum.

I think he is talking about me, all the threads have been started by my current customers who were happy with my services. I am currently talking to Mitch at CIU about advertising my other business.

it was a generalisation,im the same ....the work comes to me through word of mouth too,i just wanted an answer,i wish every one well in whatever they do.

its not aimed at any1,i was just trying to make a point,that i spoke once about our services,some1 else cottoned on to the thread i was on,and the dialog all got twisted around to make it look like i was touting for work,which we are not,so as i have been reading other threads about canvassing....i thought well was this victimisation  towards me or not.your dead right there is so much work out there and plenty for all.i have no issues with any1 except for a certain person who is keeping a low profile.

but this is the thing if i was a canvasser that worked for doorknocker i wouldn't use doorknocker or paul bass's name to get exposure i would distance my self from their bad reputaion as much as i could

I am truthful with everyone that i work for,i explain who i have worked for,it has never been an issue,as my work whilst working for doorknockers was genuine and mostly stuck as regular customers and well priced,most of the people i work for have used doorknockers and were not impressed by them,but  were happy  with mine & Toms work.Thats why they use us.For me you cannot beat HONESTY.
