Your talking a staff pole I guess, if so it work be imo the clx 27, the 22 does not hit all windows over cons and skylights.

if it is for a personal pole the SLX wins hands down without question.
when I work I use the SLX so I say this from experience of using it

you wont make any more money using a SLX in place of a CLX?

I wish that was the case as I could spend less money, but I've gone from an slx to an slx xtreme and find that it's making even more money even on domestics.

I personally think that the slx xtreme 25 is the ultimate pole even for domestics but most would probably bulk at the cost, however I still think its worth it.

If your after other ideas Lee then I would have said 4 years ago the x-tel or the hx-tel but now I wouldn't touch them with a fully extended slx.

I like the new yellow extender, they have alsochanged the shape of the pole, the sections are kind of triangular to stop them spinning, great idea.

£65 for the blank, bargain...

ive been using facelift for a good few years now BUT ive just got myself a slx 25 and only used this for 1 day and imho the slx is better than facelift .

im probley on 2 1/2 -3 years on my slx 18 .. now and it still works spot on, clamps work great .. before i was wearing out a pole a year easy ..

the best value for money pole though has to be the harris its not perfect
but for £15 you wont get a better starter pole

It's to do with the rigidity and control of the pole, not just the lightness. For instance you can clean ground floor windows a lot faster than 1st or 2nd floor. Using an slx or slx xtreme doing upstairs windows is just as easy and nearly as fast as doing downstairs. Of course sticking a lighter brush on the end of a pole will help to improve a poles performance, but from having used glass fibres for years, the slx for years and now the xtreme for 8 months I can say without a doubt that you get an increase in speed.

Yes,not the cheapest clearly,but it clearly is the ultimate performance pole you can get!I've had universal,xtel,hxtel,clx,slx but the xtreme is clearly the winner when it comes to weight(or lack of) and rigidity.
