I'm reading this thread with interest, being a novice to wfp, trying to get things working the best for me.
My setup works, but reeling in the reels surely could be a bit easier, and judging by some of your comments a narrower guage hose would be lighter.
I have a 75psi sureflo pump and a varistream2 controller mainly set at 12 o clock on the dial suits me. But I need a lot of hose. At the moment I use 2 reels with 50metres of standard hozelock yellow hose on each one, for some jobs I also need the extra 20metre hose I have. And sometimes I still need to move everything to get a bit nearer! Thus I need a minimum of 120metres. Wears me out winding them up!
With the 75psi pump and varistream, pressure is no problem @ 120m standard hose
How would it perform with narrower guage hose?
Would my 50m hosereels take 100metre x 6mm id hose?
