you should have gone for the SL2 imo anything over 45' should be done with a modular pole, not a telescopic

Got the same pole, very pleased with it. I would say anything over 50/55 is the limit for a telescopic pole. Pure HYDRO Cleaners i do agree there is a limit.

Try an extreme pole then you will see how that statement is rather out of date!

why would gardiners invest in bringing a 50ft telescopic pole to market and selling them if that were the case ?

ive got a smax 40 extended to 45 now and at its limit it just gets by, great pole though and the good thing about telescopic is that its easier to close down and clean the level below. i believe the SL2 is the daddy above 40ft for extended periods and the extreme is also good

You'll not go wrong there matey. The Xtreme is a considerably better pole but more expensive with it. Compared to what you have been using (brodex?) it'll fell like a feather! :)

A nice introduction to Gardiner poles. ;)

Oh understand now, IMO = "in my opinion"
bloody kids and your text slang  ;D :D

seriously though, is a super max 50 basically a longer slx ? asking because I currently use a 27 clx for 90 % of my reidentual work and an xtel hybrid 35 (modified with an extra section to make 40 ft) for the occasional higher stuff.
I'm thinking when they need replacing of buying the super max 50 and splitting it to make a 30-35 ft pole with the bottom sections in the van for when needed. If the full carbon offerings from gardiners are as good as you all suggest it would seem a waste of money buying an slx and a dearer super max 50 ( for the 10% higher work )
