In a similar post in past, someone said they put anti freeze in a weed sprayer and spray over path. I thought this was a good idea.  8)

i did some shops today on high street 1 side sunny the other in the shade and i did a shop sign . i went back after doing a few more shops and it was icy so quick as a flash i put some salt down. just a bit worried cause normal temp was + 3 but in the shade must have been a lot lower so gonna have to be more careful about the change in temp from 1 side of street to the other , i mean i could of got a tan it was really sunny

Salts aren't just salts. Table salt can break up concrete paths and slabs. Watch you don't end up with a bill for that one!
