Quoting for poop treatment / removal
« on: January 24, 2012, 09:52:44 pm »
Hi all

I am going to quote for the cleaning / removal of some poop contamination in a school where a pupil has smeared it over some areas of a classroom - walls, floor and seats.

How should I go about pricing compared to standard rates this as its obviously not standard cleaning?

Many thanks

I charge £78/hour for this type of work - same as drains, needles, and blood. Treat it just like any other chocalate mousse and wear glasses. I use chemspec 429 and the waste can go in the ordinary bins

I agree with the Chemspec 429 usage. That's exactly what we will be using and it is a great, versatile product. I may have to buy 4 cases of it for another job I went to see recently.

Is that £78 per employee per hour or £78 per hour on site?

There is only me usually. I have to buy 429 by the case but the concentrated one works out cheaper in the long run
