Hi have been a cleaner for 6 years and have been trading for 2 years im going for a contract of 12 blocks containing of 4 five floors 4 four floors and 4 three floors it is only to do the communial areas including the lifts on the 5 floors.
Was wondering on how to work out how many staff i will need for all 12 blocks to clean all communial areas and anything else that i need to cater for please.

Many thanks Paula

Hi Paula

There are a couple of resources that are likely to help you work out the times you need. One is the ISSA cleaning times http://www.issa.com/?m=articles&event=view&id=3034 and the other is the BICS best value guide http://www.bics.org.uk/shop/shop.aspx?cat=4

There are also some relatively inexpensive bits of software that are also useful - I'd have a look at http://www.bus-perf.co.uk/6.html

Email me if you'd like any more help

Regards

Mike
