Excuse my ignorance,
But i have a 25 degree, 05 nozzle, and a 40 degree 05 nozzle. when im using the 40 degree, it seems alot more powerfull.
Why is this so?

Maybe because the 25 degree nozzle has seen a lot more action and is worn out ie the hole is a lot bigger. I assume you don't have a pressure guage but you can tell by the pressure developed. Treat yourself to new ones. When I service my washer
each year I do oils, filters, valves, unloader and the fsc nozzles

Cheers mate.
Ive got a pressure gauge, the 40 develops a little more pressure but the kick when you pull the trigger is just alot more noticeable.. strange..
Would it make a significant different in the kick just by being used/new nozzle?

The only way to really tell is to get two new nozzles and compare them side by side.
The wear on a nozzle if used on a regular basis is quite significant
