Why is this forum so bloody slow?
Its not my end because it happens if I logon at work. It just hangs, and hangs for ages then comes up with temp unavailable? Try again 2 mins later its fine, next time its rubbish again.
Its always done this, but frankly by time I eventually get onto the board, I just want to read, not rant about how long it took me to get there.

I'd hazard a guess it's down to too much traffic for the server to handle at the data centre, either that or someone's flushed a sanitary towel down the internet and it got stuck..

I also find this forum slow if using with internet explorer, but with chrome it runs like a train

That is weird, I only use chrome and it can take upto 2 minutes to bring up a topic sometimes.

I use chrome and sometimes it takes 15 - 20
seconds to load a page.

Although  I have been off line a lot  recently i find it works fine most times but then you do get problems as described.

I know Mike B. and Mitch are working to improve Foroum hence Advertising which provides funds  to develop it and improve it
