Has anyone out there used one of these pumps?

http://www.whalepumps.com/marine/product_list/2/114/

As you can see has a pretty good flow rate. The pump seems to have a downside at being 45psi cut off.

Would be interested to find out if anyone else has come across them. Need to call into local suppliers to find out price also

Hi Lee

Are you looking to use one of these as a delivery pump to a pole on a WFP system? If you are I wouldnt use it. Yes it has a high flow rate, probably a bit too high and that 45 PSI cut off will be a real pain. Personally I would look at getting a Shurflo.. minimum 60 PSI. This will give you decent pressure at a lower flow rate and can also have a Varistream or Eco flow fitted if you need it.

As to your original question. I haven't used one like this so can only advise you as above.

Cheers

Andrew

Thanks for the thoughts Andrew

I currently have a shurflo 65 psi. I was just curious as to whether anyone had used one or not. I passed one of there outlets the other day and just got me thinking is there anything other than a flojet or shurflo.

By the way is there a source on the net where you can actually see an ECO Flow. I have looked at the varistream specs but cannot actually find any thing on the ECO flow
Thanks Lee
