Repairing Stair Wand
«
on:
January 13, 2012, 10:50:21 am »
I've got a swivel head stair wand, and I need to replace some of the O-rings. It's NOT the valve that I have a problem with, but the parts by the actual swivel head by the jets.
Anyone know where I can get some from?
Once it's repaired, it'll be going up for sale - so if anyone's after one keep it in mind
PS I'm not sure what brand it is, as there's no info on there.

Thanks for the offer Peter, I have got a selection box of O-Rings here that I bought for when I need to change to ones in the K Valves etc, but the ones I need (perhaps I shouldnt call them O-Rings) are about 1/4inch high - maybe 'grommets' would be a better way to describe them.
Hows things in Cardiff at the moment?
Thanks again.

Yes Gary they're good (see Peter's post!), I'm going to sell it because when these grommets broke a few months ago, I went and bought a straight stair wand instead.
I'm not sure how much yet, I'll see how much it costs me to get sorted & make sure it's not leaking before I properly offer it. I'll keeo you posted.

They sound like OMK omegat seals, or
Merkel rings rather than o'rings.
