Compatible Ionics pro5 filters
« on: January 06, 2012, 10:00:39 pm »
It has come the time to change the filters on my Ionics pro5. I need to change the RO, Carbon sediment and the water softener.
Everyone knows Ionics are expensive but good but is there compatible cylinder filters i can use?

Thanks Lee, I did wonder if it was a standard 40/40. Hopefully some one will confirm if it is....

How old is the ro? If your ro is a 40/40 then your OK, but if its one of the new 30in super duper ones your Donald ducked mate they are £400.

Its about 5 years old. They all are. It says on the filters to change after 30,000 litres but so far I am upto about 70,000!!
It is about 30 inches long though... Would that stil be a 40/40?
