What A Kebab of a Job!
« on: January 06, 2012, 07:11:50 pm »
Had a city centre shop to do today, opposite local Niteclub and Kebab shop, Fortnightly clean, and as you all know the city centre pays poop money!
Anyway was overdue as I came down with the dreaded Lurgie over Xmas so only just back to work this week.
got there to find someone ped up on Xmas Eve had thrown their full kebab at these windows then picked up the papers and smeared all the juices & Fat along the whole shop front! B*stards!!

Job normally takes 10-15 mins, took me over an hour!

I always use Unger liquid, always been great, but wouldn't shift this grease which had solidified! So went to local shop bought bottle of Fairy, suds everywhere, but didn't help much, so cheesed off I tried TFR, allowed to soak a minute or two, which with a combo of TFR soak and fairy, finally shifted it.
So wished I'd thought of TFR in the first place could of saved so much time and expensive elbow grease!

And the worse point of this story, its Friday and will probably be the same again by tomorrow morning!

Anyway guys this is what I did TFR, maybe you have had same problem and know and even quicker way???
Answers on a postcard.........

That was done on Xmas eve and in that time nobody in the shop thought to clean it off!

I have cleaned a few kebab shops over the years they are a nightmare, especially internal if they have the rotissary spit near the window not to mention the illuminated menu light box's in the way of the glass!

I think that is the attraction for alot of folk, if you have a few shops you can get a good headstart on the day before heading out on residential. Plus they are not all crap money, I dont do any sub work  ;)

Citrosol! That's what you want. Used to clean McDonalds and pizza hut cooker extraction vents with this. Thick grease breaks down in no time!
