Hands only CPR - too the beat of staying alive

It's funny and might help you save someone's life
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILxjxfB4zNk&feature=youtube_gdata_player
P.s not the right area but leave it for a bit so everyone sees it and can one of the window and hard floor boys post it on their forum, imagine someone drops in front of you? Do you know what to do for sure?
If yes great !
But what if it's you that drops? , do you want the last words you hear to be, I wish I knew CPR?
If it was my choice I'd pin it in everywhere for a month or more, much more use than anything else if it's needed
Plus it got a good beat!

P.s stick it on Facebook twitter, email it to your friends, whatever you fancy, it's easy and you might indirectly save a life worth just a minute of your time.

I'll pop it on FB... A friend of mine's husband had a heart attack only a few weeks ago and survived... Same age as me (39)
I'll be showing my wife and kids the video too... Cheers....

fair point but lets see it on your FB profile! the more people who see this the more chance some poor sods ( maybe one of us) is going to have. And frankly I'd be happy to be kept alive to the strutting of MR Travolta even though he a scientology nut job.

turns out yes but after research its just as effective, and 100% more likely to happen, so in short yes, however think about it BHF are a charity and have limited funds, they done this with everyone for free to go viral, I think it only right we should help it, best virus you'd spread this year? If I had a heart attack in front of you, you'd have a clue what to do now wouldn't you?
for the details

I used to be a registered first aider but there was no way I was going to wear a black uniform and be seen at the match! might as well have a book full of train numbers, jam jar glasses with a plaster holding them together and goofy teeth!!

Be ex military I suppose I've had more than my fair share of first aid training.
I can live with the fact (almost like everything in life these days) that techniques have to change on almost a yearly basis but all this is going to be futile unless you check that the airways are free ie they haven't swallowed their tongue, so open their mouth and make sure.

It not for the trained pros, if your there great take over ( I am also ex military )
It for the joe public it might not always work but it will work lots more than nothing, so share, all your traing counts for nowt if it's you that's having the heart attack .

Never mind the CPR - it's started a lot of fond memories of 1977 flooding back.
I'm ex-forces too (I was in uniform in 1977) but I remember very little of the first aid training that was drummed into me.
I've probably graduated from the "first aider" to the "patient" now.
