Chris
There are lots of different brands/products specifically for this task. Can't think of the name of the one we use but I know I have seen similar products in B&Q, local trade/diy shops and anywhere that sells all the other window cleaning gear ie blades, applicators etc.

Hi Chris
Try Cream Cleaner and a none scratch scourer with plenty of elbow grease
Best regards

hi there,
we use toluene, on really stiuborn markings, however it is dangerous stuff, low flash point, high flammable.
its what a lot of the window installers use.
