well well well ,crap adapter is back on subject again , repeat business? How often do u need to buy these then? I HOPE U CAN ALL REMEMBER MY THOUGHTS.  But heres a new one , £60 each, how much water could u filter for that,        its a lot of water.      how long do they last.
And sorry customer service is a joke unless, u dont want a personal phone call ,just endless emails,
I  for one would never bother with them again. Pain in the arse to fit onto ionics poles anyway.   By the way I never got my £60 back that they still owe me!  maybe see them at the next show? your go paul.

I am totally happy with the unit itself baring that it constantly undoes at both ends of the aquadapter and that it wont always turns off as the tap gets stuck so have to drop it and do it manually.

I spoke to Paul when i originally bought it and my experience with respect was good, i'm just disappointed that it wasn't outlined that the future mark 3 would be coming out so soon as it would benefit my pole set-up far better than the mark 2.

Anyway i am happy with the everything it does, yeah its expensive but i looks the part and much more professional. If you can let me know what can be done to sort the above problems Paul i would appreciate it as i'm having to resort to a bit of Gorilla glue to stop it from moving...

As I mentioned before this product still needs much testing and improving, maybe he has cured these little teething problems with MK 3.

Scott - any thread will undo you can either use some threadlock to prevent it undoing through vibration or a couple of winds of ptfe tape so the threads 'bite'  it needs to be done more than finger tight ( but not much !!! ) i nipped mine with mole grips - the screw thread adaptor part but used a cloth to prevent teeth marks in the ali.  the adaptor itself has never moved while
on the collar as the clamp provided is very good.

if the mechanism is sticking it usually means it requires a clean - pure water or ptfe spray.

It's not arse licking, im just boated of hearing your unreasonable moaning about a product and a company that don't deserve it. Ok some people don't like the aqua dapter, other love it fair enough, but their customer service has always been spot on, and I'm 99% sure that you are the only person to criticise and and bad mouth, that goes some way to show the sort of person that you are!

simply put it between the pole & the brush, maybe not as affective, but a fraction of the cost and the little lost dropping the pole isn't noticeable over the day.

You may be surprised, it all adds up!  It's not just for saving water though, it's also the convenience.

I did try tape whilst i was out and to be honest it made it worse and was spinning undone and any occasion. How would it work with mole grips and marks from them with Paul's warrantee?

Its only a month old could the tap internals really get that dirty in that short amount of time, as it looks externally still like new?

I have sent you an email to offer some explanation, not sure if you've seen it yet.  For various reasons we had to bring forward the release of the Mk3, and we haven't actually sent any emails etc. out yet, Spruce spotted it on the site as it has been uploaded over the holidays.

Is the Gorilla glue cracking so loosening the End Screw Adapter?

We don't usually recommend PTFE tape as it is quite soft and the teeth don't 'bite' as well: http://blog.aqua-dapter.co.uk/2011/02/how-to-stop-your-screw-thread-adapter-sta-from-loosening/

This works for me, (and I think Spruce has used thread lock) but a couple of other options I keep meaning to try, but haven't been able to so far...

I've also heard elsewhere that someone has cut a slot in their ESA, and then the tightening of the clamp has held it on the end screw.  If trying this method I would caution that you don't over tighten the clamp (or pack between the ESA and the body of the Aqua-dapter first to maintain the original diameter) as overtightening can prevent the mechanism from operating smoothly.

The tap getting stuck is usually because of the carriage not being pulled all the way to the bottom.  The unit does also benefit from being washed out fairly regularly with soapy, it shouldn't require any lubrication, but if you do, please don't use WD-40 or any oil as these attract debris and will 'gunge' it up!

CAN'T BELIEVE some window cleaners moaning over a few quid ive bought 3 returned 2 one i broke (no need for aqua dapter to fix it they did)2nd one sticking  sent new one out)ive got one sticking Occasionally but still working carnt be bothered to return ill buy mark 3 later in year only cheap as chips,were are all the wfp are on 500 pound a day so 70 pound is nothing to them(ps ill have to get mrs carnt remember to buy me one )
