Being able to screw it strainght on to the pole, or via a quick release clamp is a nice mod.

I'm not happy I only bought mine at the start of December, had to buy the stupid adapters to make it fix my quick release CLX!!!! Why did I not get told this was coming out this soon??

What makes it worse is that the screw threads on both ends continually undoes!!!

The Mk2 came with a 6" ali tube and fitting into the pole was rather awkward ( IMO )

On the Mk3 this looks to have been removed and i guess the pole hose now fits back directly into the AD

quick release option looks cool.

Are you going to send yours back, coz I'm very tempted I paid over well over £80 for mine to only find out that the adapters are now made on it and that's it's also lighter...  >:( >:( >:(

not nice for you lads who just brought one,but i doubt they are going tell you a month or so before that a new model is due out,as they would have hardly any sales that month

I agree but when your paying more for extras that a new model is coming out already mostly with. It really makes you think that they're nit interested in repeat business

Guys,

The Mk2 will perform just as well as the Mk3 and I bet you don't notice the difference in the weight. Whilst the clamp that holds the Aqua-dapter on the Mk2 may appear a little bulky, it has never been a problem. A little thread lock fluid such as Locktite on the Thread adaptor stopped it unscrewing on all 3 of our poles.

The Aqua-daptor is exactly the same mechanism as the Mk2 except that the coupling tube has now been done away with which will make assembly a little easier. Saying that though, I think that each of the Mk2's we have have only been removed once to put some locktite on the adaptor to pole threads. So making assembly easier isn't going to make to big difference to the rest of my life.

Removing the tube will reduce the size of packing, the amount of storage required and perhaps reduce postage costs - all things that will help to keep manufacturing costs down and be of benefit to us cleaners in the future.

Looks all postive to me!

Each new model computer that comes out is cheaper that it's predecessor that you just bought when comparing it spec for spec.

Hi Scott,

On the contrary we are very interested in repeat business, and we've been very happy to have a high percentage of repeat custom.

The part for fitting to a quick-release pole is the same (an end screw to screw into the unit) and is an extra for the Mk3 too.  The one you have will also fit in a Mk3.

Typing a bit difficult as on a phone but will check back again later.

I agree with what Paul has said with regard to repeat business.

We now have 4 aqua-dapters and we have first hand experience of how important repeat business is to them.

We will be looking at a 5th unit in the new year once this silly season is over - I rate their sales and after sales service very highly which I believe is even more important these days when alot of companies out there just don't give a damn.

(I have recent experience of buying parts for our tumble dryer that were in stock but when they went to pick them weren't. So they ordered them from their supplier at their leisure and I had to chase them numerous times on the phone to get them to get the parts. Next day promised delivery took 2 weeks and they added insult to injury by not getting it in the post the same day as promised and then sending it second class post instead of 1st class overnight. They also took payment immediately from my credit card. All that and still having the wife chewing my ear off on the other side as she had no tumble dryer.)

To deal with suppliers that are interested and keen is a real pleasure.

well well well ,crap adapter is back on subject again , repeat business? How often do u need to buy these then? I HOPE U CAN ALL REMEMBER MY THOUGHTS.  But heres a new one , £60 each, how much water could u filter for that,        its a lot of water.      how long do they last.
And sorry customer service is a joke unless, u dont want a personal phone call ,just endless emails,
I  for one would never bother with them again. Pain in the arse to fit onto ionics poles anyway.   By the way I never got my £60 back that they still owe me!  maybe see them at the next show? your go paul.
