Hi all just an idea to save your hozzelock connectors put either a tennis ball near the connector or try and get one of those little hard plastic balls which lasts ages and saves the connector banging and dragging on the floor as they break easy and dont last long which the connectors cost around £4 a go so not cheap if you gotta keep buying them.I got the plastic ball from a school I clean so go searching in the schools for them real handy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would think a wrap or two of Gaffa tape round the lagging might help a bit, but I'm certainly on the look out for hard plastic dog balls  ;D

All good ideas but why not just take the end right back to the reel so it doesn't have chance to damage.

It's what I do aswell as using golf practice balls(exactly the same a gardiners protecta balls and a fraction af the price) to stop the connectors scratching cars ect.
