New year clearout
« on: December 20, 2011, 08:39:47 pm »
Anyone else having one??
Im getting rid of all the crap customers i have over xmas, printing the whole round off and binning the garbage payers.
Currently theres only a few but theres 2 which have really pushed my patience to the extremes this month.

1-Owes for 2 lots-1st clean after 4 visits to night collect they asked me to collect next clean.Cleaned this month-tried saying come back next month.
Dont think so pal.Its been like this EVERY MONTH THIS YEAR.Called tonight,no joy again.

2-Gets cleaned, then NEVER pays on the day even though shes ALWAYS in.Asks me to come back, then says another night till she say-oh i'll pay double next clean.
Next clean arrives, note on the window asking me to leave them, but no mention of the money outstanding.Again, like that EVERY month since i got it.
Unbelievable.
Cant be bothered with them, they either dont want to pay,or are simply skint-neither which i want to waste my time with.

Anyone else???

business is like gardening,to make the plants/bushes grow strong and flourish you have to prune back the deadwood
Anything that is taking time up is taking money out of the system

i have one every month,  u have a couple of choice,  dont clean and then bill and if they say any thing say  i clean you dont pay so i thought i wouldnt clean and see if you paid then

go back to them and tell them that you wont be coming back after xmas and that you are trying to closed the book on all debts,  if they say why aint you coming back just say jacking it in   aint worth it,  i have tried passing the work on to someone, but no one wants this street, its full of pay payers

but never clean there windows again

I get the money off them both eventually, just takes way,way longer than everyone else, and way longer than what i deem acceptable.
These are in an area 12miles away aswell.
There gone for sure, just want my money.
Im not even going to bother going back,i doubt very much they will ring and ask why,or when i do next doors ask why,if they do,i'll just tell them they waste my time and diesel that much i arent prepared to entertain the thought of even opening their gate ever again.

I have a snobby ex air force officer owes me 70 quid and will not even discuss payment.I would just like to smack his face thinks his poo does not smell.I WFP his large house he is always home . I have decided if he does not pay by end December.I am going to soap his houses widows while he is there and leave with the soap on the glass. I will start at the back and finish at his office windows and just get in my van.  Cannot wait to see his face.If he says anything I am going to tell him I clean like he pays crap.

I KNOW THERE HAS BEEN OTHER SUGGESTIONS, BUT I LIKE YOUR IDEA. PUT A WHOLE BOTTLE OF FAIRY WITH 1L OF WATER AND SOAP UP EVERY WINDOW. IF HE MOANS TRYS TO GET POLICE INVOLVED THEN SAY IF THE CLEAN ISNT UP TO STANDARD YOU WONT CHARGE HIM. I WOULD BE TEMPTED TO GO BACK A MONTH LATER AND DO IT AGAIN FOR OWING ME £70  ;D

Out of curiosity Santa, What kind of effect does the above have on the glass?? Wd40 would be easy to apply from the can  ;)

More of a supply business

He takes a shotgun when he goes collecting - swears he never has a problem getting his money  ;D

Its great to have a new year clearout but even better to Dump As You Go.

Have a criteria that all customers must conform to and if they dont measure up then dump em.

I can handle the odd not today - not that I seem to have many of those anymore but cannot tolerate non payers or too slow to pay customers.

I have George and when a name continually seems to be on top of debt list then they're binned, stop cleaning, go to house to collect on a Saturday morning at 8.30am or leave a reminder if theyre out.

Thinking about it prob not get any not todays as slow payers also tend to be messers as well ??

If you keep working for these dross customers it may get you down wondering if and when you gonna get paid.

You be suprised how quick your round becomes better and stronger when u bin the crap on a continual basis.

Worried about losing income by dumping the dross ?? .... if you struggling to get your money then its not really an income is it .... spend the time u not cleaning the dross by canvassing or dropping leaflets or do the 5 a side trick ... drop the 5 houses either side of a good customer with a leaflet before you clean your customers house.
