I do agree with you mostly, but for example, I have one customer that I clean every 6 weeks, it a good job that pays over £260 per clean. now this company is a very large multinational and their payment terms for ALL suppliers are 35days from end of month, which in reality can mean I am waiting upto 2 months for payment, depending on where in the month the clean has fallen but even on a best case where the clean is at the very end of the month, I am waiting 36days.
The payments are like clockwork and on the 35th day after the end on the month that the job was invoiced the payment will be in my account - without any variation.
I have done this job for 17yrs and the only time they have been late is on the very rare occasion where they have maybe had a technical issue with their accounting system.
so do I dump them because they wont pay me in 28 days? of course not.
