You are going to have to define streaky a bit more clearly to get an answer. Milking, run down, spots ? top windows, bottom windows?

I cleaned my own windows last week and they were ok afterwards, then the heavy rain came and the next day they were awful, streaky, dirty rain?

There's been so seriously bad storms recently and some very extremely rough seas out in the atlantic and over an incredibly large area. The salt from the sea can get picked up and can get carried hundreds of miles before getting bought back down to earth by the rain.

I live on the coast anyway so streaky windows with wfp isn't that rare but inland, it only happens every so often and the weather in terms of meteorology recently has been more than unusual.

Even if windows are done trad style and dry within seconds, around here when a SW'ly gale has been, the glass can look perfectly clean but go back 10 minutes later and it'll be covered in white lines from the edges of the squeegie blade.

That's my guess anyway.

on one of my shops last week, one of my lads must have left over 5 million spots, he was newish to wfp and got caught out by the salty windows

I didnt count them, but bear in mind the shop is 250 metres long.

When i saw them i cringed, but as we clean it every other day, i knew we could correct it soon enough before we got a complaint

its happend on both top and bottom windows , best way for me to explain the streak would be to say if you was to soap a window up and then squeegge off but leave a bit then you would be left with the type of streak thats been happening .

Are you still chucking Isopropanol in your tank? Do you use a holding tank? Are you using a new reel or maybe the brush got contaminated with something. Were the properties cleaned around the same time?

had real problems saturday had a large house to clean gave it a good scrub and a double rinse some of the glass left areas that the dirt had not come off fully ,had to rinse  4 times seemed to do the trick ,can only guess the wind had caused the salt/ dirt to be hard impacted on the glass.hope it rains heavy soon ;D ;D ;D

not got any ipa in my water , yes i use a holding tank but water is 000ppm , no new hose its the same as being used all the time , properties were cleaned all within a few days of each other , brush is allways looked after in the same way cleaned out regular using just pure water .

ive been back to my relations today and re-cleaned them and they were definatley streaky , there was no wind yesterday so cant really think anything was blown on the glass , it was every window on the house that had streak marks on i just cant work out whats gone wrong .
in all the time of being wfp ive never had anything like this happen then i get 4 happen within a week its relly puzzled me as to why .

Have the windows got vents above? Do you clean the top of the window frame?
