I work with Wor Lass for 80% of the time, and usually I do 1st floor only with WFP and she follows behind doing the ground floor traditionally.
Because I use WFP I can often get five or six houses ahead of her in my mostly estate type work, so we've even purchased 'walkie talkies' to stay in touch. (Hello Helen, this is Tosh-Two-Zero; have you finished the windows at number 34, over? (etc)).
When I get too far ahead, I down my WFP and work traditionally back towards her.
But the WFP has really speeded us up and I see a marked increase in our earnings. This week for example, we've had two half-days off; so we've only really worked a four day week. But we've made the same as if we'd worked a five day week with me using ladders.
It seems each time I clean a house using my WFP I get faster and earn more. My difficult areas/jobs have become much easier; some even very lucrative.
But when will it end? I've been using a WFP for just over two months now and regularly see an increase in our earnings.
So, how long was it before you 'peaked' and levelled off at an average income?
P.S.
Helen is not the fastest window cleaner in the world, so she's getting a Shurflo for Christmas. But don't tell her. I don't want to spoil the surprise.
