I have 2 average sized  bungalows to price tomorrow, windows inside and out monthly and also facia soffit and gutter cleans 4 monthly, the windows i'll proberly go for about £7 out £10 inside, and was thinking maybe £50 each bungalow for the facias ect,  does that sound about right or should it be less or more? I dont have wfp yet so it will all be cloth work, would be gratefull for any thoughts.

I've just quoted £80 for gutter and fascia clean today on 2 bungalows.
Each one should take me about 4 hours to do.
I usually charge between £25 - £30 per side.

What i was going to post is there a product ideal to get the black watermarks off the fascia?

I did some facias and gutters on some bungalows back in the summer.

Charged £40 for facias and £40 for gutters took about 1 1/2 to 2 hours and that includes a coffee and sandwiches

Having done few houses at no where near them prices, i now wonder wether there is money to be made here.
Can we go into more detail, £50 per bungalow seems a lot, is that just the gutter or a complete UPVC CLEAN including windows.
I,ve just qouted a large 3 bed semi, double large bay window, 3 side windows, conservatory (including roof) all back windows including loft conversion, upvc cladded, rear french doors in upvc frame that protrudes from property, all gutters fascia £100.00.

GUESS WHAT THEY NEARLY CHOKED.

they probably choked at the cheapness ;D

how are you accessing loft extension windows?
if you are doing this by hand and ladders and the loft windows cannot be accessed from inside then DO NOT do the loft extension...too high, unsafe and not worth the risk.

Too cheap can you give idea of prices that you would charge, i personally felt this was worth £150.00 due to the extent of work, but wanted the windows, told them it was half the normal price.

Part of this is linked to proposed new work that client does not know they could put our way.

Ok thanks chaps quoted them this morning bungalow 1 double bay fronted window,   with deep soffits quite a lot of work all upvc cleaned. £30 a side I quoted and she nearly had kittens lol, not to worried though my gut feeling was that she would be a right pain, she still wants the quote all set out on paper which she isnt going to get  ;D,
bungalow 2 went better but as there freinds I will be supprised if i hear from her. think i'll stick to just windows now and pass these type of cleans on.

Based on a standard 3 bed semi with bay window downstairs and assuming the UPVC is pretty badly stained.

Gutter clean £15 per per side (average semi) = £45)
UPVC gutter clean (surface) £20 per side        =£60
UPVC soffits                          £20 per side       =£60
UPVC sill clean £5 per sill (average semi)        = £35
UPVC window frame clean   (average semi)    =£100
exterior window clean                                     =£15
interior window clean conservatory                 =£15
exterior conservatory windows                        =£10
conservatory UPVC                                           =£50
conservatory roof                                             =£50

Thats about £440...bring it down to £350 for whole job custom.
I would not relish this type of job at all if doing UPVC by hand and would happily quote this price. If I never got it, no problems...if I got it, I`d do it but can guarantee that no matter the wages, halfway through I would be thinking "never again!!"

WFP will not clean UPVC that is badly weather stained to the same standard as cleaning with cream cleaner and cloths by hand.
