Thanks again for messages and advice some useful stuff to try.  I've went out this morning but struggled so finished for the day.  I've looked at my scheduling and have worked it round with no work until next Tuesday.  Hopefully it will be improved with rest and I can still get a few good days in before Xmas. Got a nice batch of work that I could do immediately after Xmas too so financially speaking I should catch up.

Cheers again all

Please try this if you haven't already. Ice pack applied straight to the strained area through a thin piece of cloth (like a handkerchief).

Ice packs have saved me so many times and take the pain away and speed up healing. I know it's hard but try to give your shoulder a chance to heal and be as gentle with it as you can (whilst doing 30 houses a day  :))

Good luck mate.

I have a 2" tear in my shoulder that will need surgery at some point, I have been working now over a year with it, but have had to up the pain killers the last few weeks. So I know what its like.

Thats what happens when you try doing a mans job, like drilling a hole in the bottom of your van.  ::)

Should have called me in sooner to do the job for you.  Just make sure you have enough drill bits  ;D  Imagine if i hadnt done those last holes for you.  You could have been even more decrepid that you are now!!  ;)
