Washing office towels
« on: December 04, 2011, 11:49:39 pm »
I have just taken on a new office cleaning client who wants us to wash their hand towels and tea towels. They have 50 towels.

Should this be included in the hourly rate with extra time charged or is there a standard price for this, or should we just do it and forget about charging?

Many thanks

Charge them extra for it. If they sent them to an outside laundry contractor they would be paying in the region of 95p per item. Adjust your cost accordingly. It takes time to collect, count, wash, dry, iron and take them back clean. They moan if stains are still on them.
