Insurance scumbags
« on: November 29, 2011, 10:37:47 am »
How hard can it be, to get an insurance quote under £1500 for a van?

Its f**king extortion!!

Its only a transit, and id lie about the machine in the back, except i cant just whip it out if i have an accident(it weighs half a tonne!)

Rant over..

Waiting on a couple of phonecalls back from some recommended companies, hopefully have some luck..

Mine's just gone up and up mate. Wan*ers aren't they.

Try Hastings Van. They were cheapest for me when renewing last month.

yeah mate, they know, they know we dont have a leg to stand on, so they all put up their prices..

Do you tell em about the tank and machine being bolted in?

Or do you just tell them there is no modifications?

My new transit 57 plate will be £1200 on renewal, thats with a 1.2 tonne jetter with a 400 ltr tank declared. It was only £800 last year with no new claims, the broker said the tank narrows their choice because window cleaners tie their tanks in with bale string .
