I got called back today to re quote a window job for a large company at Heathrow. However they also wanted me to do the underside of a loading bay, flood lamps and camara's

The loading bay was an open structure ie exposed purlings, wind braces etc absolutly minging with cobwebs, so laods of nooks and crannies. not too bad hight about 15ft

Does anyone else do this kind of work, are there special brushes etc for the likes of camara lenses that could be used, Im sure window cleaning is just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to wfp.

I do lots of domestic gutters-facias-cladding etc as I did today

I keep an old brush in the van for this purpose only

Undersides are hard work keeping the brush pressed against the surface you are working on - and you have the potential to get very wet too because the higher the surface the more inclined you are to hold the pole vertically. (I'm sure if you had a regular job at lowish height then you could fashion some pivot - adjustable for height - on wheels (same principle as a see-saw) so that you pushed down on one end of the pole and the other lifted up against the under-surface you are cleaning.

health club get me to use the wfp to dislodge all the plastic footballs that get stuck in the rafters by the swimming pool...

I had a feeling someone was going to mention how difficult undersides would be, have been thinking about this myself. Not the ideal job as a begginer and a little concerned. I might allow for a tower just in case

You can clean caravans, static or mobile.

Due to their size they are very akward to clean, You cant use a pressure washer because they can damage the seals on the caravan.

Pure water is fantastic on them. £50.00 a caravan, nice little earner.

loook at the Tucker poles leaflet, where they show you how good wfp cleaning is on a caravan.

Hard work for a brush (I,ve done it)
Easy with a pressure washer lance from "Northern Tools"
had one now for a couple of weeks cuts the cleaning time in half with a fraction of the effort

With a limited number of commercial window cleans at this stage, I was wondering what else to make use of it with.

Are you useing this with your pure water as a simple jet spray or with a normal pressure washer.

Normal water via a petrol pressure washer (no need for a plug)

Many thanks again . I was looking at a pressure washer setup earlier, however not sure if I can get the water supply at this place. Another email should decide that one.

If I cant then maybe for cobwebs I could use a low pressure  (with lance or pole jet spray head) system until I can get properly set up.
