I'm 6' 4" and my wife is 5' 10" but she had back problems. I used a 18' pole for wfp and she used a 12' and concentrated on the lower windows. Worked fine until we had kids.

Taller helps and certainly has it's advantages but all the shorter people I've known and worked with have all been extremely tenacious.
Used to work with a chap (now deceased) how was 5' 4" that never let anything stop him doing what he wanted. He would always find a way to get his work done, usually by some inventiveness or lateral thinking. Had to admire him for that.
