£100 isnt much for something that makes my hands warm for a third of the year

well worth the cash to me

i can honestly say that when using wfp my hands feel like they have been slammed between two lumps of metal on cold mornings

regarding waterproof...i didnt buy them for trad...only wfp...and they are nice n thin for wearing outer gloves over the top

i was looking at high quality outdoor gloves...hill climbing and stuff....some of these were well over £100....so i thought some heated ones were always going to be better for me

trust me....some heated gloves get well into the £250 mark

the cheap ones dont work..and dont last

£100. but they are not any good to you in this industry.
They are not wterproof, they are to big for trad work and if you manage to find a pair of over gloves to protect them, I doubt whether you will be able to get in or out of your car/van (was going to put van/car but thought it may offend admin)
Cold wet hands and feet are just part of this job for 3/4 months of the year.

jesus...typical of this place

i was trying to help anyone who may suffer with cold hands like i so

i use large rubber gloves to cover them...these are almost like liners...not actual gloves

they work fine...have already tried

cheap heated gloves dont last as i have done 2 pairs of them in one winter

of course they get wet using wfp...but the rubber gloves sort that

i dont submerge them in water at i dont use them for traditional cleaning

every time someone with a low post count writes anything here...it gets put down ffs

thanks for telling me all about this job and how cold it is....ive been doing it for over 25 years!

Your welcome.
In 25 years have you not got used to the cold?
In twelve years I have found after the first couple of weeks my hands tend to acclimatise to it
Now if youve got a way to spot leaking connectors im all ears
