Hi Can anyone help please? I am trying out George the window Cleaners Assistant. I bought a cheap palm on E Bay the palm 21. I have succesfully installed the software both on pc and palm. but after a whole day of inputing what I cleaned, how much and whose paid, I tried to do a hot sync and now my pda thinks that I still need to clean everything I did today. On neither my pc or handheld has any work been recorded as done now. What have I done wrong? the log says

 it might be you have not got the full version so it is running as a trial on you pc and palm hope this helps

It looks as though the palm is not configured to the PC properly.

try switching the live up dates on on gearge settings this might help

Thanks for the advice, I emailed Paul and he told me what I had done wrong, I'd forgotten to download the Palm configuration file. I did this and it works brilliant.
If anyone has any doubts about using George, Dont it's brilliant, very handy as well with being linked to the palm. Just a quick hot sync when you get home and all the infos uploaded to your pc. The support from George is also top class....I'd recomend any day.

Have you tried this window cleaning program:

So much simpler than the george system - you print off you work for the week and update once a week or after each day - whatever you want.

Actualy I have tried your programme and was very happy with it untill I tried George. I found your programme was always scheduleing a day later than it should have, ie weekly work was always a day later each week. Also with George it can be linked with a palm which is so convinient. No printing of , ticking of and having to enter data onto the pc. you simply do a hot sync at the end of each day and its all done for you,, really convenient and really professional, so I intend to kep using George...Sorry

Hay guys...

I use george just on my pc not the palm yet.. but do you go about putting in jobs that want external and internal cleaning? such as external every single month and internal every 2 or 3 months?? you carnt split the price as far as i know i no you can put in more money than the job is worth but  this is for pre-payment or a tip. How do you guys do it??

Hi Dave

At the moment you need to set up 2 jobs - one monthly job for the outsides and one 2 or 3 monthly job for the insides.

Alternatively you can just change the Price (but don't tick "New Job price") when you do the insides.

The next major upgrade to George will handle all of this properly.
