Help 4 Heroes
« on: November 12, 2011, 10:28:56 pm »
Hi all, remembrance week has touched me this week, so ive decided to do something to help.

So........as im having a midlife crisis, ive decided to take part in the "Heroes 5 Peak Challenge." Where i will be pushed to the limit, as i battle to climb the 5 highest peaks in Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland with the aim of completing this challenge in under 55 hours! The challenge encompasses over 17,000ft of ascent, 40 miles of mountain paths, 800 miles of tarmac, crosses 4 national borders and one sea as i take on Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England, Ben Nevis in Scotland, Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland and Carrantuohill in the Republic of Ireland, and in case it didnt sink the first time.....ALL IN 55 HOURS!!!!!!

Im asking if you could donate to my page www.bmycharity.com/5peakchallenge its a way we can say thanks to the injured and fallen, cheers guys!!   ;)

sorry some of the charity pages give you the option of paying by paypal, but if you don't have a paypal account it will not work that way.

don't worry I will stick money in another account and do it tomorrow

i think the government should be helping these soldiers out instead of joe public. Our goverment send them all over the place and into things we should steer clear of. Absolutely sick of it. My bro in law has been in afghanistan on n off since it all began. Nephew is also joining up to the REME i think.

i really feel for them.

Thanks to the 2 people who donated, its really appreciated, however, more is needed!!!! ive been out training every weekend, was up Helvellyn yesterday.

Am looking at climbing Kilimanjaro after the 5 peaks, and i will mention, theses challenges and treks are all SELF FUNDED!!

All money goes direct to help for heroes!!!

So come on guys, we all mention to each other how terrible it is when these soldiers come home as amputees, so give a little, its a way of saying thanks to them!!!!
